Just continuing the countdown till baby day! And week 10 "tummy shots" are on their way!
Fun fact about baby: He/She's the size of a prune, and arms are the size of this number 1. So cute! 10 weeks until we find out the sex, and yes we will for sure tell you!
Love you all,
Tony and Sophia

9 weeks and counting
Well, we don't have much to update for you all, but tomorrow marks 9 weeks and all is well. The symptoms are definitely constantly reminding me that I'm building a baby. I'm becoming great friends with ginger, tea and crackers. :-) But at least I have a great husband who is more than willing to make a dinner and fold some laundry for me. He's a blessing. Gabriel is working hard interpreting and I'm nannying 3 days a week, we're very happy o be entering week 9. Time has already flown by, which makes us excited that if the first weeks have flown, the last ones can too! We'll see. And by the way, we have some names picked out.... but its a secret! :-) Maybe later we'll give you all a hint.
Well, we love you all and are so happy that we can blog to keep us all together through technology! We miss and love those of you who are so far away!
We'll keep you posted on the newest details to come.

Ultrasound #1
Well, we went for our first ultrasound on Friday, and got such good pictures! Here they are, I hope they make sense to you. Picture number one is just a basic picture of "baby" even though it doesnt look so much like a baby yet. Picture 2 is of the baby's spine, so cute! And picture 3 is of the umbilical cord going from me to the baby, it was so cool! We go to see the blood flow in it, and see the little heart beating! So fun! And yes, its just one baby, not twins. Kind of a relief, kind of not, but God knows best! So enjoy the pictures!

First Doctor's Visit
Hey everyone!
Tony here, so we just wrapped up our first doctor's visit. We absolutely love our Doctor, she is very kind, caring and realistic with all that concerns the pregnancy. We had a little scare though, Sophia needed to get 3 samples of blood drawn. After the blood was drawn, she turned very pale and started feeling pretty sick. Before we knew it, our Doc. rushed back into the room just in time for....hhhmmmm how do I say this......well, let's just say Burger King looks a lot better BEFORE it's chewed up. It was a little scary for us, but everything turned out to be ok. Soph is fine and it was just a little too much for her. Sadly, we did not have our first ultrasound today, as anticipated, but we will tomorrow (Wednesday). As you all know, there is a strong possibility, due to my background, for twins. So tomorrow, we will hear either, one, or two....or God knows how many heart beats!!!
(As a side note, I had such a hard time not translating everything that was being said into Spanish, since every other time I'm in a clinic it is to interpret.)
Anyway, we're stoked! There's no other word for it, we're estatic and know that God's plan for our family is so much greater than we could ever ask or even imagine.
Well, that's all from me for now. Tomorrow, we'll let you know how many little Nunez's will be running around next April!
Much love,
Tony...or Gabe to some of you. haha

Our blog!
We are so excited to announce our new baby on the way! We are 7 weeks and 6 days pregnant now, and so blessed to see God's hand in our family. We'll be updating at least weekly, if not more. Our families are spread all over this big world in almost every continent, so this is the best way to keep all of us updated on our first baby, grandbaby #1 for the Nunez's, Grandbaby #3 for the Burgins, and Great grandbaby #5 for grandma and grandpa Burgin. How exciting! Thanks for stopping by!
